Technical Trainer – Child Protection, MHPSS, Parenting & Life Skills (Consultancy)
Education Relief Service (ERS) is seeking an experienced Technical Trainer – Child Protection, MHPSS, Parenting & Life Skills to support an integrated Training of Trainers (ToT) programme for teachers and child protection practitioners in Gaza.
The consultant will lead the contextualization and delivery of technical training on Child Protection, Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS), Positive Parenting, Life Skills, Safeguarding, and referral mechanisms, while providing mentoring and technical quality assurance throughout programme implementation.
Minimum Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Child Protection, Psychology, Social Work, Education, Community Development, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Child Protection programming in humanitarian settings.

Demonstrated expertise in:
- Child Protection in Emergencies
- Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS)
- Parenting programmes
- Life Skills programming
- Adult learning and facilitation
- Coaching and mentoring.
Consultancy Period
August – September 2026
Level of Effort
Approximately 70% FTE across the consultancy period, with an estimated 90% level of effort during the first month and 50% during the second month, reflecting the shift from intensive preparation and training delivery to mentoring and quality assurance activities.
