• The Amal Association for Rehabilitation organizes a training course for sign language in Rafah

EL- Amal Rehabilitation society in Rafah headquarters organized a training course for the sign language at the beginning level targeting 25 trainees from Al-Amal Center for Adult Education who received vocational training in the production kitchen project implemented in partnership with the German Association for Adult Education (DVV) his training comes within a series of various courses implemented by the Center as part of its annual plan which aims to raise the competencies of all trainees who have benefited from the project. 
 Fatima Zourob, speaker of the association, pointed out that the course is specialized in sign language at the beginning level and aims to raise and develop the abilities of sign language participants to enhance their communication with their colleagues with hearing disabilities who participated in the project.
 Zourob added that the training continues for two consecutive months with one meeting a week of 3 hours of training between the theoretical side of the training that talked about the emergence of the Amal Society and its goals and vision, and the reference to the history and beginnings of the sign language through the stages and the practical aspect of how to practice sign language Using all the signaling techniques used in everyday life. 
 She added that the course includes many exercises and various reference topics that aim at the integration and community participation among members of the community and strengthen the relationships between trainees and people with hearing disabilities "Deaf". 
 In the same context, the participants expressed their happiness with the training course and their love to learn sign language and work on mastery, especially as they also deal with people with hearing disabilities in their daily life or through their participation in the project.
 The participants also sent a letter of thanks and appreciation to the management of the Association, the Amal Center for Adult Education and the German Association for Adult Education DVV for their efforts and support for such exercises and projects that benefit all segments of Palestinian society.
